This Danish indoor market is quite an easy walk from Copenhagen’s city center, and the quality of products that are sold here are terrific. Not having had access to a stove on this trip left me choosing many unique chocolates, coffee, and tapas.

The range of Nordic products within this food hall are indeed fascinating; gorgeous meats, assorted nuts, “danish” danish, beautiful smørbrød (open face sandwiches on buttered bread), seafood, and beer. A little glimpse of paradise and calm within this bustling city.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Torvehallerne is laid out in a typical Nordic Design; Clean, Sleek, Fresh, Well Lit, Modern, Rustic, Contemporary, Thoughtful, Approachable, Organized, and Cozy…with plenty of space between vendors. This must also be the cleanest food market I have visited.
